About Grace

Grace Carter is a vocal coach and singing teacher specialising in contemporary, research-informed approaches to voice and performance.

After training at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Guildhall School of Music and Drama, Trinity Laban and Dutch National Opera and Opera Studio, Grace worked internationally as a performer, including with Deutsche Grammophon/Universal Music and in commercial campaigns. An accomplished pianist, Grace brings a strong musical perspective to her teaching and regularly works as a pianist for auditions, rehearsals and performances, as well as accompanying and coaching singers from the piano.

Grace maintains strong links with leading London drama schools, including LAMDA, Trinity Laban, Mountview, LSMT and Bird College, alongside her coaching in her South East London studio. Her ongoing professional development includes training in Estill Voice Training, the Accent Method, Knight-Thompson Speechwork and applied neuroscience for voice, alongside observations in NHS voice clinics. She is a member of the British Voice Association and remains committed to continued research, development and collaboration across the voice industry.
